WorkCover Case Manager List

Many injured workers have been looking and asking (us) for a list of workcover case manager (s) – the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Workcover case managers come in many different shapes, sizes and – especially- characters. They can be young and extremely inexperienced, lacking communication and basic people skills; ,  many are in their forties, divorced and utterly miserable sourpusses, some are male, most are female, some have years of experience and have undoubtedly gone through a “work hardening programme”,  some are fresh off the street and so inexperienced and non-educated in the law and in medical terminology it’s frightening, many are, yes, lazy and incompetent,  a  very few are decent.

You can read heaps more about those bizarre but powerful creatures here :all articles related to case managers. For example: workcover case managers: the good, the bad and the ugly and Workcover Case Managers can over-rule advised from our best medical specialists. WorkCover Case Manager: national standards of practice – must read and must keep.

Please note: NOT  ALL workcover case managers are ‘evil’. In fact there are some (but few) extremely ethical, honest, impartial and compassionate CMs around.

Also, when you suffer a relatively minor injury such as a broken leg which will heal in a cast within 6 weeks, chances are that you will be treated ‘well’ by your allocated workcover case manager. The ‘problems’ will start when you either not healing as per some obscure guideline, either if you have suffered a moderate to severe injury at work.

Case managers are (generally) NOT your friend. They are employed by workcover insurance companies to do one thing and that is to save as much money as possible by denying our minimising your entitlements. These creatures are offered highly rewarding incentives (such as monetary bonus) for denying and minimising claims, and for forcing you to return to work yesterday.

Frequently adversely reported workcover case managers

The following case managers (in alphabetical order) have been frequently  adversely reported and/or mentioned to aworkcovervictimsdiary for their less than ‘professional’ attitudes.

President "I hate Kenneth Club"

This guy us workers is a slimy, arrogant, incompetent fool. His dirty tactics are numerous. Fortunately he is not the sharpest tool in the shed so he gets things wrong a LOT which can help us injured workers get some justice. He likes to use David Bowe & Associates as PI's and gives special instructions that breach the Law. Beware of this one.

WorkcoverVictim

This lady is extremely rude and uncaring to say it gently. Has no regards for medical certificates nor specialists opinions, doctor (IME) shops till she drops, treats you worse than a criminal, delays your medical care based on trivial matters, and will try and destroy what's left of your sanity. Do put in an immediate 'restraining' order - do not ever communicate with her directly. She also downgrades injuries illegally and aworkcovervictimsdiary has received countless 'stories' about this 'evil' lady.

  3. No suprises Allianz leading the stakes. I note the article states: “these creatures are offered highly rewarding incentives (such as monetary bonus) for denying and minimising claims”. Is there any evidence of that anywhere or by anyone? Like a copy of an employment contract or bonus goals or an ex-employee prepared to speak out? We could do a lot about how things are if we could prove this point. Pleeeease let us know. Thnx for the great new section. I think it will fill up fast.
